Seating 1,807 in a setting of Italian Renaissance Revival splendor, the grand auditorium of the War Memorial, known as Patriots Theater has been a stage for world-class artists and entertainers.

Those appearing have included American Ballet Theater, Marian Anderson, Louis Armstrong, Leonard Bernstein, the Cleveland Orchestra, Bill Cosby, Duke Ellington, Patti LaBelle, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Bob Hope, Peter, Paul & Mary and many more.

Patriots Theater features a proscenium stage measuring 25 feet (height) by 50 feet (width) and 27 feet (depth), with a floor of sprung oak. The newly enlarged orchestra pit, which can be raised to stage level to provide additional stage space, accommodates 50 musicians.

The lighting system and sound system, both "state of the art," are newly installed. The theater also features a concert orchestra shell. Part of the State of New Jersey's Capitol Complex.

The War Memorial is located a short walk from the New Jersey State House (the nation's second oldest operating capitol building), the New Jersey State Library, the New Jersey State Museum and the Old Barracks Museum (site of the Battle of Trenton on Dec. 26, 1776).

It's just a short distance from Mercer County Waterfront Park, home of the TrentonThunder minor league baseball team and other attractions.
