DOROTHY

Dorothy is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2014. The band consists of vocalist Dorothy Martin, drummer Jake Hayden, guitarist Sam Bam Koltun, and bassist Eliot Lorango. They released their first project, a self-titled EP, in 2014.  Rolling Stone deemed them "a [band] you need to know," and named them #14 on their 50 Best New Artists of 2014 list.

Their debut single, "After Midnight," quickly gained traction and earned them early comparisons to The Kills, The White Stripes, Patti Smith, and Grace Slick. Dorothy's music blends hard rock, blues rock, and post-grunge, with Martin's powerful vocals leading the charge. Their albums, including "Rockisdead" (2016), "28 Days in the Valley" (2018), and "Gifts from the Holy Ghost" (2020), showcase their unique sound and Martin's raw, emotive voice.

Dorothy continues to captivate audiences with their energetic live performances and anthemic rock songs, solidifying their place in the modern rock scene.
